The other day she nipped Equis in the face as he crawled by her to reach my father. It's not the first time Roxy has gone for his hand or his face, but it really scared my father. His huge yell caused Equis to cry hysterically and Roxy to run away.
I understand why Roxy is not too fond of Equis since his version of playing means slapping her in the face, trying to stomp on her back as she peacefully lies next to the couch and pulling the hair that hangs down in front of her eyes.
Roxy has never hurt anyone. Unfortunately, the way in which we often played with her involved violence. She would grab at our hands with her mouth and gently press her teeth into our skin. This form of playing was fun until baby Equis came along. Now, I no longer appreciate it.
