Believe me, trudging through the snow with a stroller and a child who refuses to keep his hat, gloves and scarf on is no easy task. But I took him anyway because his "Spring Break" is soon, and I don't want him missing too much school.
My walk back home alone allowed for some beautiful photo opportunities of NYC's sidewalks, trees, fire hydrants and playgrounds in the snow.
My fingers felt frozen, wind-whipped snowflakes dotted the ends of my long brown hair, and I was wearing the wrong shoes for this kind of weather; but I couldn't resist the desire to stop a few times on every block to pull out my cell phone and take pictures.
These photos represent a continuation of my "Journey through NYC" series, which started last week with "Photos of a Journey - On My Way Home." You can click on the photos to enlarge them. Enjoy!
