Flipping through page after page of carefully placed stickers, memories of entering a 99-cent store and begging our mother to buy us more and more stickers flooded my mind.
I was so diligent about collecting those stickers, I had to wonder what happened to that persistent little girl.
I mean, I should give myself some credit for the Footprint Frame, the Shadowbox and the "I Love You This Much" card, but--
The scrapbook that I'd started for Equis, when he was simply known as Little Star in my belly, has just been hanging out in my closet for the past two years incomplete.
I decided, then, to try to finish it this year--especially since I have two other empty scrapbooks hanging out in that closet too!
Since I'd only created scrapbook pages using my son's sonogram photos, I added two more pages, yesterday, filled with photos from the day Equis was born and the hospital record of his footprints.
Check out what the scrapbook looks like so far:
I hope that when Equis gets older, he'll appreciate my Chronicle of Love for him.
How do you chronicle your love for your family?
